Hide and Seek in Kuantan

Shannon Chow · April 16, 2011 · Leave a Comment

The first thing we arrived in Kuantan was Where’s the good food? so after official GDLTs function the first night we headed out!

we had Duck! the sauce is just pure goodness. Thick herbs taste and the duck was well marinated a great recommendation by Rotarian Robin.

the store was alittle run down but nevertheless the food was good.
after food late at night as usual malaysian, we need a place to yumcha and chit chat, gossip and chill out, along the way we went Kemaman Kopitiam.
Kopi
Roti Bakar aka Toast Bread, tender bread very soft.

the super cool white and black coffee on the right and I ordered Vietnam Coffee
very rich and thick, I was wondering how am I gonna sleep tonight! Luckily due to tiredness after checking mails, replaying and I slept soundly and deep. Amazing after such “kao” aka Thick coffee.
the next day we went to Satay Zul, which is like 3 minutes away from our Hotel, everything seems so near there, while this place was jam pack with people we had to wait for our tables.
known as Satay Zul, the satay is just above passing rate, the sauce is good filled with peanuts and all crunchy but not as good as the one I ate before in KL Peel Road.
all of us had chinacu =) after filling our stomaches, we headed to the Beach at 11pm while the on going Tusnami news happening in Japan is going on. We’re not ignorant it’s just seems alright to go and the tides were so strong and strong winds blowing so hard cooling but looks scary at night. The tide is just crazy!

Well gonna be all jam pack with Rotaract stuff for the next few months as we’re preparing to take over on board after the training here, we’re Fellowshipping thru service =D
