Bangsar is always a good place to go when you are thinking of what to have during brunch time (the in-between-timing of breakfast and lunch). I stumble upon this new cafe, opened not long ago and it was a full house so I decided to give it a try.
Salt Beef Hash, RM 16
On a sleepy Saturday, this dish awaken my sense. Love the flavour of beef in cubes and potatoes however, portion was rather small. Would be perfect with toast bread.
Nutmeg Breakfast with Salmon, RM 28
Overall was this was good but not great, if I were to rate it is 3.5/5. Mushrooms could be better.
Cafe Latte, RM 8
Let’s just say, am not head over heels on this. In short, coffee was not great. I’ve had better coffee and most likely I will grab my coffee at Artisan after a meal here the next time.

Papaya cake, RM 12
It was slightly pricy for a slice of cake, then again after trying it was perfect. Their cakes include local fruits as compared to the normal red velvet or chocolates etc. Thumbs up for this.
Nutmeg is a great place for brunch and lunch not so much for coffee, their heavenly cakes melts me. I will be back for their cakes and breakfast.
