We had friends gathering at Pumpkin Garden, that’s when I discovered you can actually steamboat with pumpkin soup! It turned out good and rather delicious. The crowd starts coming as early as 6pm on weekends, many families had reserved table in the restaurant hence, walk-in customer are usually assigned a table outside.
Recommended by Amelia, we ordered some of their set along, added some side dishes too.
Their speciality, the salted egg sotong is a must try!
Another popular favourite is the salted egg fried pumpkin. Cooked side dishes are great for empty stomach!
I’ve been here a couple of times, so I decided to review about this place.
With jessying and amelia together with our boyfriends. The service is excellent until today, the staff constantly checks on our pumpkin soup to prevent it from being too thick.
Pork slices are ultra thin and perfect in shape.
You might wonder, will pumpkin soup taste good? well, it’s just like the pumpkin soup served by western restaurants. As for me I love pumpkin, so eventually I fell in love with this place after all, this place stood out among the many steamboat places. I do understand if pumpkin soup is not your cup of tea, but if your adventurous, you would want to try this.
Parking is very limited, we normally park on top of the pavement, or at the back of the housing area if you can get a spot. Price wise, on average it’s about RM 30 per pax, inclusive of the set, drinks and side dishes.
