A family place located in the other side of SS2, along with a few other Nyonya restaurants. Bibichik is my favourite when it comes to having a nice dinner with my family. On weekends, after 7pm while dinning enjoy the live musical performance by Roy Chew, mostly jazz and oldies love songs.
Bibichik is a lovely place which is not very popular to many, however food lovers have found its way to this place. I’ve read many good reviews about it too which got me thinking, although there are other reviews out there why don’t I share it with some whom have yet to know about Bibichik?
This was the dish I enjoyed the most, Honey Sotong. At first I thought they were mantis prawns due to the shape and the crunchiness. It was only until I saw the menu that I realized they were actually squids. And for me, this is a must order.
Petai Prawns, I love petai but don’t you come near me after me digesting them. 😉 Nevertheless, this is one of their signature, same goes to any nyonya restaurants.
Crispy Brinjal – the brinjals still retained the soft and mushy texture on the inside but on the honey coated outside, it was slightly crisp with a crunch. This is more like an appetizer actually however it goes well with rice. You’ll get addicted to this dish soon.
Another signature dish goes to the Asam Fish. Pprepared with Black Pomfret, the appetizing sour and spicy gravy is excellent with rice. Perhaps you might need to add another bowl of rice. 🙂
I hope you will love this place too and perhaps share with your friends and family.
PS: This place is Halal.
