A dear friend of mine had been talking about Kalamazoo, so I decided to try it out. Kalamazoo is an American restaurant, featuring wholesome dishes from all over America.
The owners each resided in the States between five to ten years. A couple of years after their return, they realized they missed those days so much and decided to recreate them here, thus Cafe Kalamazoo was born.
My favourite is their Pork Chop, go for pineapple sauce while pork chop is tender served with salad and mashed potatoes. Mushroom soup is recommended (choose from cup or bowl), lastly pork burger the patty is rich in flavour with speciality sauce (mild spicy) tingles your tongue.
The food was relatively affordable, judging based on its quality. It’s menu offer a variety of dishes not common in other restaurants, which gives this place a plus point. Comments on foursquare about their homemade brownie is a mixed review. Overall it’s a cosy place to dine during non-peak hours and to savor some of their authentic American dishes. Also, set lunches are available on weekdays.
“Get ready for a ‘FULL’ tasty adventure.” – quoted on their Facebook.
