Vanity Trove Malaysia: It’s All About Love [Unboxing]

A pleasant surprised knocked on my door last Friday – just in time for Valentines Day. It was the Vanity Trove “It’s All About Love” February 2013 edition beauty box. Remember earlier in January, I blogged about Vanity Trove in Malaysia? Vanity Trove is no stranger among the ladies as they first started in Singapore. Now with a new management in charged for Malaysia, things are on the bright side for VT.

Vanity Trove boxes are shrink wrapped, unlike some other beauty box they comes in bubble wrap or an outer cardboard box to protect it from dents. The condition is in good shape upon delivery by Kangaroo Worldwide Express, friendly delivery guy who rings more than a couple times on my doorbell else, I would most likely had missed it as my doorbell is quite soft.

The signature VT boxes are drawer type with ribbon. It’s easy to slide open and very useful if you were to stack a few of these boxes up and you could use it to organize your beauty and make up products.

At first glance at the box, the card and product brochures are on top while the items sits nicely on shredded papers. The scent coming from the box makes you feel good and have a little dreamy feel to it.

It’s a good mix of trial and deluxe size product.

System Professional by Wella, the Smoothen Shampoo cleanses and treats the hair structure to boost suppleness while the Smoothen Mask detangle the hair.

The Oriks Wild Ginseng Stemcell Twister Essence reduces visible pores while hydrating and nourishing skin. The BB Cream is formulated with plant stem cells to repair and keeps your skin healthy while covering imperfections.

In the trove, brochures of the products are included for reference as well a promotion voucher from Oriks. It’s good to include vouchers, if I liked the product after using, I would get a special rate since I’m subscribed to Vanity Trove.

The February 2013 trove, had a good balance of skin care and body care products, although there wasn’t any full size items in it the delux size are fine by me so long it’s not sachet, the trial size b.liv is considered okay. I get to try some new products this month, such as the Benefit POREfessional, Oriks and Di Palomo Tuscan Rose.

In terms of price, as Vanity Trove is considered to be the most expensive beauty box in Malaysia currently, I would expect to see some luxury products in it. Overall, I’m satisfied with February 2013 trove but it would be fabulous if theres at least one cosmetics item in the trove – that would be a perfect balance.
