On my final day in KK, we went on food hunting and nail down those food places which is a must visit!
In the morning we went to a place quite far away about a 15 minutes drive from OneBorneo Mall way past a university to get to the coconut pudding place.
Cause having coconut pudding in an actual coconut is really different experience.
Taste way better too! I had once during dinner with the Sabah tourism board in Floating seafood restaurant.

Look at the texture. Delicious! It’s only RM 4 bucks per coconut. Way more affordable than you dine in KK seafood restaurants where this could goes up to RM 10++
yums! We even get to select our own coconuts!
The place
Tapao coconut pudding in cups.
With Hayden, KB and myself! Happily enjoying our coconut pudding!
Next stop, we continue seeking for DESA Milk, only in Kota Kinabalu. I’ve got my hands on it, not easy to get as the production was stopped hence for a few weeks there wasn’t any supply. But in a kedai runcit place, we found our milks.
Then on we went for Roti Khawin with Teh Tarik ice is a famous combo for breakfast, teatime or even after meals in Kedai Kopi Fook Yuen.
Durian pancakes at Uncle Biscuit Bakery. Not bad. Creamy with mild durian taste.
That marks our final food hunting before boarding planes back to KL. Satisfying!
