Recently a friend introduced me to the new ramen place in Taman Bukit Desa, it’s owned by the founder of Sanuki Udon, Gerai Makan Japanese BBQ and Maruhi Sakaba. The latest outlet, Lao Jiu Lou, serves Japanese-Chinese dishes inspired from Yokohama Chinatown.
Comparing among other ramen place, this is by far the most affordable ramen. It’s delicious and I adore the thick creamy soup. Also, visiting for the second time, I’ll recommend this place to anyone.
Add on the sides, Grill Gyoza, RM8 and Japanese Cha-Shu, RM10.
The entire restaurant looks like a Chinese noodle house, rather authentic with the wooden benches.
Affordable for 3 person, inclusive of GST, it’s below RM50.
