Was back in KK again. This time I was here for the Borneo International Marathon, Hayden introduced me to a pretty awesome hang out place called Party Play which was owned by his friend.
The environment was somewhat similar to The Bee in KL, a great place to chill especially for youths and private events / functions.
Love the setting and acoustic live band playing some great music.
Hayden’s friend and Hayden himself. His a great guy, when I’m in KK he would tour and bring me around, introducing and feeding me like mad with great food. In return I’ll do the same for him too! After all, that’s actually how we met eachother. 🙂

Since we had our Ba Kut Teh dinner down town, so we’re just having desserts here in party play while chilling out.

Dark Chocolate Fondant with Milk Ice Cream. It’s a must have, though I’ve eaten a similar one in Cafe Barbera, Sunway back in KL but both are equally delicious! The rich chocolate melts in your mouth with ice cream a sinful indulgence after a meal.
Vanilla Waffles. This dessert is off the menu, specially ordered by Hayden. Only few people know that it exists in Party Play. So if you visit them next time, do mention to the waiter “Vanilla Waffles” to order it as it’s not stated in the menu. Rich with vanilla ice cream, I would say, the most ice cream topped on a waffle I’ve ever seen. with strawberries and black currants with icing sugar.
Sesame Snap with Strawberry Cream. Unique and smooth strawberry cream, the texture of the cream is way smoother than yogurt it comes with sesame snap, just break the sesame snap and dip it into the cream, delicious.
Party Play deco. You’ll find many youngster hanging out around here and spotted KK Hitz fm DJ here too. The price range here is slightly expensive. However, the quality and food are really good. Our total bill was RM 50+ for 3 dessert all together.
The live band entertaining all of us outside. Party Play has two outlets so the band is performing in the ally in between two shop outlets.
While we chill and play a game of Monopoly cards. I’ve always been around friends playing it however, this is my first time playing it. And after two rounds I won! 😀
I would really love to have any cafe with Party Play concept in KL, well beside The Bee and a few similar cafe. But the concept here of good food, great dessert, live band, wifi, nice deco and a great place to hang out is really rare. Really love this place.
