Turns out, only by lucky draw of shuffling the cards on a bowl if your lucky enough you’ll get a bag. I and my friends, regretted running in heels. In the end we did get a bag and a goodie bag of mini mac products. While after the queu ended, we’ve got no idea if the event ended too as Emcee did not clearly state what’s the next agenda. But we know the fashion show was ended so we just went on to Ding Tea and try out the teas while chilling. Wasn’t as what I’ve expected to be a fashion show. But well, it was great to catch up with KB!
PitStop Mad Hatters | Pavilion Fashion Week 2012
Last week Fahrenheit 88 had a Mad Hatters fashion show which was held in Pavilion at PitStop. It was a night where everyone were to put on our fancy hat and mingle.
My date for the night, KB gotten her invites on twitter and invited me! 🙂 I would say, she’s my BFF from ex-colleague at Groupon during my internship now we’re pretty close plus we get to dress up for the night and put on our fancy head accessories on the night!
Posers as we try to angle a snap shot to capture our awesome head accessories.
Others with hats.
Guess who I bump into? It’s Calvin Cho! Been a long while hadn’t seen him out in events!
With Lady in Red sexy Jess, KB and me!
Mad Rush and lucky number 045.
Cocktail bites.
With Tony, just when he mentioned I was Missing In Action (MIA) from events, recently I seems to be bumping into him at almost every event. 🙂
A better view on my fancy hat. Managed to found a nice lovely hat and a new dress which so happens to be located at two shop side by side so I bought it. Love the cream colour.
Outfits are all from Fahrenheit 88, like a treasure island. Individual pieces are pulled off as creative outfits.
The sad thing when an Emcee fails to introduce herself, we, the audience didn’t know who she was. Perhaps any of you would have happen to know her care to drop her name below at the comment?
She certainly did made an impression by not introducing herself, while chit chatting in small groups we did asked one another, did anyone managed to get her name? no one knew as we didn’t even think she remembered to introduce herself on stage. Sad.
Actually, turns out the event was in memory of Fong Fei Fei the late Taiwanese singer who passed away early this year, she’s known to be the “Queen of Hats” hence, the theme of the event. It did get a little confused as all of a sudden, we were told during the event by the Emcee.
So there were a few songs by the late Fong Fei Fei were performed by the sisters.
Love their outfits, girl dressed up like a guy in pants suite!
And also performed by a fan of Fong Fei Fei, she sung the song “applause” and was really good in vocal, she was a winner of a singing competition in Taiwan on classical songs.
Then, without notice we were asked to be on our feet to run over to Fahrenheit 88 from Pavilion called it “Sales Rush or something” and expect us to rush over with the first 100 will receive a free handbag.
