In Digital 3D-X. We had the privilege to watch the making of Life of Pi in 3D-X. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to watch Life of Pi in 3D-X as there were some technical errors hence we watched it in 2D instead. The seats at TGV Cinemas were great as usual, comfortable seats and spacious leg room.
Beanieplex are cushy beanbags seats that comes in pairs. Comfy as if your at your home sofa!

Based on the best-selling novel by Yann Martel, is a magical adventure story centering on Pi Patel (Suraj Sharma), the precocious son of a zoo keeper. Dwellers in Pondicherry, India, the family decides to move to Canada, hitching a ride on a huge freighter. After a shipwreck, Pi finds himself adrift in the Pacific Ocean on a 26-foot lifeboat with a zebra, a hyena, an orangutan and a 450-pound Bengal tiger named Richard Parker, all fighting for survival.
It is highly recommended to watch Life of Pi in 3D! The movie was commented to be the greatest 3D movie ever since Avatar.
The effects were great as you are not able to tell which animal is real or it’s a computer generated one.
Aside of the great visual, Life of Pi is an amazing story. Surviving from a shipwreck with a Tiger is somewhat unique, the emotions were very touching. Suraj Sharma as Pi did a great performance in his act. Throughout the movie, most of it in the sea. The movie is certainly a great watch.
Do catch Life of Pi in TGV 3D-X at SetiaWalk.
