A new burgerjoint in the subang ss15 neighborhood, Burgertory!
Recently “burgers” became the talk of the town since Burgerlab. And after all the talking I had a sudden urge craving for burgers. Soft fluffy buns with juicy meat complementing it with chips or fries over soft drinks. Sinfully satisfying yet I think I shall worry on my health from constantly eating burgers and having soft drinks…
After hearing about Burgertory from Rebecca Saw I went on a burger hunt with Hayden who’s in KL recently for his internship. Back in KK he used to bring me around on food hunting, so I returned the favour in KL – getting fat together over good food.
(Updated menu, new item the Bacon Paradise and veggie burgers for vegetarians)
From my knowledge, Burgertory recently open in Subang SS15. They are having a FREE upgrade promo where you can order your burger and get free fries & free flow of soft drinks (worth RM 5). This free upgrade promo is until end of March 2013.
On my first visit, I wasn’t very hungry and the initial plan of taking a few bites from Hayden’s burger failed as he finished it within a minute or so and I didn’t even had the chance to taste it. So we ordered the second burger, Burgertory Classic, then the magic starts to evolves in my mouth.
Soft fluffy buns served with tender juicy pork patty filled with special sauce and cheese. The burgertory classic is still my favourite despite after trying out others, as I enjoy the juicy well marinated pork patty with the crispy meat.
On my second visit, I’ve tried the Burgertory Treasured, it comes with single pork patty, cheese and crispy pork lard. My sista Amelia had Swine Bacon and Cheese, it’s served with pork bacon and mild cheese – I would recommend that too.
The french fries with the special dip sauce is unique, taste like cheese with a slight bit of sour and spiciness in it but it’s very mild.
If your a meat lover and are more adventurous, you can order their Bacon & Cheese+, comes with double patty/bacon and double cheese!
Hayden, enjoying his burger.
All burgers are served on aluminum trays from ikea (ironically, I used these trays at home for random stuff in the kitchen).
Drinks station. Help yourself, it’s self service with free flow of soft drinks and coffee. The “upgrade” or some call it “set” of drinks and french fries is an addition cost of RM 5.
The ambience of Burgertory, is a factory like environment, it did reminds me of “Kemahiran Hidup bengkel” back in school days.
There’ve been a few burger joints I’ve visited in SS15 itself, so far the best burgers goes to Burgertory at this point of time.
I’ve tried Crayon Burger, the concept is nice in terms of colourful buns however there are room for improvement on the patty. The other burger joint, the famous Burger Kaw Kaw have an outlet located one row behind Burgertory, is okay but the fries are terrible.
So this is my current favourite burger outlet serving porkie burger. You’ll certainly see me checking in here as often as possible for the free upgrade.
Latest offerings at Burgertory!
Cheesy Bacon Bits Fries, RM 13
I particularly enjoy the bacon bites and cheddar cheese that melts in your mouth, a recommended appetizer while waiting for your burgers!
Moo Classic with roast potatoes
Swine Bacon and Cheese, RM 16 with apple salad. I swapped fries with something healthier. Apple salad comes in a set too so it’s the same price (RM 5 additional) for this upgrade!
