Was looking for good local food places for breakfast and so happens as I walk hopelessly in town, Tasha Chua my friend from Uni who’s hometown is in KK called me during her day off at work and drove me to her favorite place for breakfast.
I would say, if it wasn’t a local who bring you around, I honestly did not know this place exist! Located far away in an industry area and hidden behind some factory outlet. They do have good signboard direction to guide first time visitors but if your out of town, its pretty hard to get to here.
Wan Wan sells fresh fish head, fish paste and fish mou with noodles in clear soup or curry soup. You get to choose between noodle or meehoon both are fresh and unique it’s totally different from any hawker stalls noodles.
Really fresh fish paste, smooth in texture and really chewy and bouncy! I’ve never ate any fish paste like this before, except for fish ball I did tasted very fresh fish balls before.
Meehoon topped with minced chicken in a unique sauce under it. Not your typical black sauce.
This is the Noodle. Same dressing as the meehoon.
A delicious breakfast before my island trip! Yums! I was also told that this was their 3rd location after being shifting twice as the first outlet was on fire and then with the lack of parking space in the 2nd outlet they shifted to the factory area here. The shop is a full house with people coming and going off. Quite a popular place among the locals.
The price ranges from RM 5.50 – RM 10.00 for the fresh fish, it’s totally affordable!
