Hai Peng Kopitiam, Kemaman

Shannon Chow · July 16, 2012 · Leave a Comment

On our way back to KL from the Awana Kijal trip with Nuffnang bloggers we did a pit stop for lunch at Hai Peng.

It’s known to be a very popular place for pit-stop by travelers. The kopitiam is always filled with people with aroma of food and coffee. Service is relatively slow though and are slightly pricy yet quality of food is good.

Hai Peng coffee for souvenirs!

Snacks of Nasi Lemak, Noodle, Kuih-muih, curry puffs etc price ranges from RM 2 – RM 10.

Nasi Lemak, the sambal is pretty good and quite spicy. They’ve got two different packs of nasi lemaks one with extra spicy while the other is normal. For me it’s still spicy.

French Toast with kaya & butter.

Kopi Hai Peng and Milo Ice.

Tosted Buns with Kaya. The buns were filled with generous amount of Kaya and Butter.

Kaya and butter fillings in the bun.

Two half boiled eggs

Toast with Banana and Peanut Butter, a must try when your at Hai Peng, eat it when it’s hot and fresh!

Hai Peng Special Fries.
The only thing special was the mayonnaise, french fries were quite standard anywhere else.

Settings of traditional style. Stop by if your around the area of Trengganu, heading Pulau Perhentian or going to Kuantan.
