It was a memorable birthday trip together with my boyfriend in Taiwan. We stayed at Hotel QUOTE Taipei, which was highly recommended by Sy, the founder of Sylistic.com.

Hotel QUOTE Taipei is known for its unique concept of luxury meets coziness with dim-lit lighting and distinctive wood-and-metal interiors. Upon arrival, cute H.Q. babies greeted us at the main entrance, which instantly made us feel at home. Warm tea was served to calm our nerves after a long day of traveling while checking-in. We were also ushered by friendly staff to our room

We stayed at U Room on the 11th floor, featuring a king size bed with a rustic metal lamp and open-concept bathroom. There are six different types of room – Q, U, O, T, E and QUOTE room, which resembles the hotel name.

Various mode of lightning are adjustable at the side of your bed.

Bed is soft and comfy, it’s a necessity to get a good night rest during your trip.

The work desk with adjustable chair, great for those who need to follow up with some work or emailing. WiFi is available, ask for an additional username and password should you desire to connect more than one device.

For more privacy while spending private time in the toilet and shower room can be partitioned by pulling the curtain. While I also appreciate the thought of electric toilet seat warmer with sprinkler adjustable according to water temperature. Complete set of toiletries are available in every room such as toothbrushes, cotton pads, shower cap, razors and vanity kits plus ion hairdryer is found in a glass drawer below the sink.

As a girl, I’m often particular about toiletries provided by hotels as normally I’ll pack my own but staying in Hotel QUOTE Taipei I can travel light. Each room uses DAMANA® Neroli products, it’s 99.8% natural enrichment, 100% natural fragrance with no colouring agents and paraben-free. It’s also dermatological tested. Orange blossom gives a refreshing scent and is soothing to the skin.

Mini-bar features some snacks and a variety of flavoured tea. There’s also soft drinks, Taiwan beer, juice and green tea in the fridge, which will be, replenish daily. Where as, for coffee lovers like me can enjoy a decent cup of coffee with nespresso, with a choice of 3 different types of capsules according to mouthfeel.

One of Hotel QUOTE attraction is the HQ Lounge at level 2, it’s open 24/7 with snacks and drinks available to hotel guest. Check out their vast selection of local magazines for light reading.

Computers are available to browse the net, feel free to grab your necessary toiletries should you require additional. H.Q. babies and other QUOTE souvenirs are up for sale.

My favourite part, after a long day in JuiFen and ShiFen plus RaoHe Night Market, just a phone call away the OSIM USqueeze is delivered to our room. By the way, it’s free of charge and depends on availability, you may call the front desk to inquire.

I celebrated my birthday at QUOTE accompanied by the lovely boyfriend who got me a Hello Kitty cake from Hello Kitty Sweets. Staying at Hotel QUOTE was very convenient to get around town with the MRT located nearby.

Transportation: Upon arrival at airport you can opt to take a cab, bus or train to reach Hotel QUOTE Taipei.
