Kee’s Creampuffs, USJ

A while ago, Aaron Hee from ChopChop asked if I would be interested to try out some creampuffs from his merchant “Kee’s Creampuffs”. Well being as a huge dessert fan myself I said why not.

From an online-based business, Kee’s Creampuffs recently had their cafe outlet in USJ. Their creampuffs had gotten many in favour and I would call them the professionals in making creampuffs! It was lovely to chat with Kenneth, who was the person in-charge where I got to learn more about  Kee’s Creampuffs.

The café was cozy, filled with bright orange colour, it instantly lifts your mood up to a cheerful one – colours do play a huge role here. Asides from their bestseller creampuffs; they serve tea and coffee as well as cakes. Their creampuffs are freshly made daily.

I got to try out a few flavour. The bestseller remains as their classic creampuff, and other on demand flavours includes Cookies and Cream, Green Tea, Lemon, Strawberry, Blueberry and Choc Banana.

The flavoured creampuffs that I really liked would be the cookies and cream, choc banana and also the blueberry. Things I liked about their creampuffs is that every flavour is not too sweet, you can taste the freshness of each ingredient in thick creamy texture. One bite is like fluffiness melts in your mouth – craving for more! One or two creampuffs is certainly not enough.

Cookies and cream reminds me of Oreo, it’s delicious. Green tea creampuffs was good too, however I find that the taste was not concentrated enough. I was told, because they do not add any flavouring as it’s all natural which was why the green tea taste wasn’t strong. But plus points for some people who would prefer a lighter version of the green tea flavour! While Lemon and Strawberry are both refreshing.

I liked the fact that, every creampuffs is not too sweet yet still gives you a kick of flavour as you take a bite. I love the blueberry flavour as well. It wasn’t too sweet like any other blueberry flavour would be, you know what I mean. This flavour was perfect.

While their choc banana creampuffs, is what I’m deeply in love with. It’s creamy and rich chocolate with traces of banana slices triggers my taste buds, it’s as if I’m eating a slice of cake.

Saving the best for the last, their classic creampuff remains as a best seller, which I have to agree to it. Filled with vanilla custard cream, it’s simply irresistible. I’ve eaten many creampuffs but after tasting Kee’s Creampuffs, I don’t think I’ll be satisfied easily with ordinary creampuffs.

Their red velvet cake is good as well, neither too moist nor dry.

Kee’s Creampuffs also offers Tea-Time promo. Enjoy coffee/tea with two pieces of classic creampuffs for RM 7. During 10am till 12pm and 3pm till 5pm daily.

These creampuffs are available for takeaways too; they also cater for large quantities orders for parties and such. Just call them and book in advance. All creampuffs are freshly made daily with no preservatives, so they have a short lifespan that can last up to 2 days. Keep them in refrigerator and best consume immediately.

Classic creampuff, RM 1.50 per piece while flavoured ones cost RM 1.80 per piece.

For purchases of more than 10 pieces, you will enjoy a 15% discount from the total price. Classic creampuffs a box of 25 for RM25 while Premium creampuffs a box of 25 for RM 35.
