MIVVA Beauty Box: Mother’s Day Edition (May)

It’s my very first Mivva beauty box, this month’s May edition was very much align towards Mother’s Day.

This month’s MIVVA beauty box consist of 7 items:

It was a good mixture between trial and deluxe size products; overall I’m very satisfied. In addition, there was a couple of vouchers and Mother’s Day special card with a small rose tea cup.

Antioxidant Body Scrub is a rich blend of unique natural exfoliating agents and vital antioxidants with added Gingko Biloba and Chamomile extracts which leaves the skin renewed, smooth and healthy. It is the best selling body scrub and the Winner of Harper’s Bazaar Beauty Award 2011 Best Body Scrub.

Nature’s Lab Antioxidant Body Scrub, RM 76 (250ml)

Rosehip Hydra-White Cleansing Powder is a micro-form cleansing powder which contains coconut and cinnamon botanic extracts. Which means, it contains rich mineral content. With a pH value of 5.5, it also claims to remove blackheads and cuticles without drying the skin. The plus point, you can now bring your full-size cleansing powder on board while traveling without the fuss of any liquid limitations.

O’slee Rosehip Hydra-White Cleansing Powder, RM 49.90 (55gm)

Ultimate White Extra Intensive Spot Serum contains multiple whitening ingredients to inhibit persistent dark spots and improves skin dullness while preventing melanin production, leaving skin looking brighter and more radiant. I’ve personally tried various whitening serum or whitening skincare range, but not every product minimizes spots (pigmentations/freckles). With the ingredient that reduces the active melanin production, it is able to minimize and reduce visibility of spots.

Aqua Sleeping Mask provides immediate hydration across all areas of concern, restoring dewy and supple complexion. A thick jelly texture with tiny beads that would melt onto skin upon application with mild rose scent. I love sleeping mask as they provide intensive moisture to your skin, especially sleeping in air conditioning rooms.

Apart of the two sample of Aupres product, I also received a voucher for facial massage and skin care samples based on consultation with beautician.

Jojo E contains 100% natural concentrates that strengthen the skin’s firmness and elasticity against stretch marks and hydrate very dry and itchy skin. Jojo E’s Triple Action Formula consist of 3000iu Natural Vitamin E and Grape Seed Oil to provide effective antioxidant protection to the skin’s collagen against free radicals. Essential fatty acids (EFAs) from Jojoba Oil, Safflower Oil and Grape Seed Oil provide essential nutrients for healthy skin cell renewal and repair.

Garden of Eden Jojo E Serum, RM 39.90 (15ml) and RM 63.90 (32ml)

RGII Premium Ex Deep Wrinkle Line Cream is a double functional cream for whitening and deep wrinkles. This botox-like cream features a low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, which acts as a peptide to fill in deep wrinkles and strengthens the skin’s barrier.

Somang Danahan RGII Premium Ex Deep Wrinkle Line Cream, RM 349.90 (35ml)

Claire Organics Handmade Soap is made by talented artisans using fresh and natural high-quality ingredients such as essential oils, shea butter, olive oil, oatmeal, or goat’s milk so it doesn’t harm your skin in the long run. The soaps are freshly made and required a curing period about 3 – 4 weeks before it’s ready to use, I received Guinness Stout Soap with Organic Raw Honey for revitalizing and anti-acne.

Claire Organics Handmade Soap, RM 16 to RM 22 (100g)

Aside from the products a product description card was attached, there were also some catalogs of the products and vouchers. I’ve received a cash discount voucher worth RM20 to be used on Antipodes and NVEY Eco Products, as well as a complimentary voucher for Mary Chia 4-in-1 Body Detoxification Therapy worth RM400.

In conjunction with Mother’s Day, Mivva had gone the extra mile in a lovely small gift – rose tea cup and a Mother’s Day card. It was certainly very thoughtful of them. Overall, I find the May Mivva beauty box had a well mixture between face and body care, added to the advantage a well mixed of organics products by Nature’s Lab and Claire as well as some of the new products such as Aupres and Somang Danahan.
