Gradient nails had been a trend awhile ago, but these new gradient nails collection by TheFaceShop caught my eyes. I fell in love with its simple 4 step guide on creating gradient nails at home. I purchased 01 Royal Gold, each pack comes in 3 colours, ranges from a lighter to darker tone and ends with glitter.

Simple instructions printed at the back of the package. Each pack is priced at RM 29.90. Some colours may vary between outlets due to out of stock.
I’ve pre-prep my nails with base coat, and applied a layer of the first shimmer coat. Next followed by the second coat, darker pink which I applied 2 coats which starts in the middle of my nails till the tip. Between interval coats, just wait for about 1-2 minutes for it to dry, overall this collection dries quickly and need not apply more than 2 coats per colour.
Here are the colours. Better visual.
As for the last coat, I applied the glitter, this is a bit tricky, sometimes the glitter don’t attach onto your nails and we want it just at the tips, so I would use the nail wooden stick (the one used to push back cuticle) to adjust the glitters by gently moving glitters around the nails. Once you’re satisfied with the result, leave on to dry for about 3 minutes then apply a layer of top coat.
Tip: You might want to wait a little longer as you may move the glitters aside when applying top coat if it’s not dry yet.
TheFaceShop Gradation Art nails is available in all TheFaceShop retail outlets and comes in various colours. I spotted this purple one and find it pretty as well. Hope this nails ideas gave you a different view of gradient nails, rather than using sponge.
Another alternative, you can combine 3 different tone of colours of your choice to create the same effect too.
