Rainforest Discovery Center

Early in the morning we visited the Rainforest Discovery Center and explore the Rainforest Exhibition on some of the species avilable at the center. 

 

after the nice air conditioning we went to have a walk in the juggle to explore nature and walking towards the iron canopy walk.

Alright the guide is giving us warning here not to be playful as the bridge is not stable. 

Canopy Walk….this is the wooden one, before we reach the long iron canopy walk. Warning, only 8 people at one go else we may crash below the pond.

it’s a 300 meters long iron canopy walk to explore the jungle and bird sighting! Great way to explore “a small” part of the entire jungle. It’s a huge place here but we only took the shortcut hence it’s about a 1 hour and a half walk instead of hiking deep inside to explore more. We’re clearly not hype on the idea of nature after hearing the hike could take about 4 to 5 hours! We just opt for the canopy walk will do and that took us 40minutes to get here!

Our feets

It’s a nice place for bird sighting on the canopy walk, thanks to Firefly and Sabah Tourism Board for this FAM Trip, we learnt a few stuff on plants, birds and the trail of canopy walk was great fun to explore nature!
