Restaurant Kong Sai, Paramount Garden, PJ

Shannon Chow · May 24, 2012 · 1 Comment

Table of five and we’ve have a feast to begin with. Kong Sai is very famous for it’s steam chicken and soups with other dishes as well. I’ve been a frequent satisfying customer over the years here and now since we ordered quite an amount of food, I decided to do a review for you guys. 🙂

Old Cucumber Soup, very tasty just like the ones my grandma used to make. 🙂

Pork with Yam, is tasty and thick yam slices with tender pork. Each piece, sliced perfectly filled with the tasty gravy that goes well with white rice or oily rice.

Stuffed Tau Fu Balls
Served in a bowl of soup filled with mince meat. Really nice and tasty.
Steam Chicken, RM 16 is their signature dish. Smooth tender chicken with their home-made sauce.
The home-made sauce consist of spring onions, ginger, oil and soy sauce. Great flavour to go with the chicken. You can ask for extra too. 😉
Curry pork ribs with potato
Black Pepper Soup, RM 12.
Pork intestine soup in claypot, hot and spicy with the thick pepper taste with pork slices in it.
Pork slices a balance of fats and meat. Just nice.
Steam beancurd with soy sauce. Need I say more? Though a pretty common dish, but it’s the perfect combo after a plate of meat, vegetables and beancurd completes the meal.

Fried eggs, Fu Yong Tan. Look at the colour, well fried and crispy. The chinese sausage is always my favourite.
The total bill for 5 pax here was RM 97 inclusive of rice, tea and all the dishes mentioned.
Totally worth it and I can never get enough of their food. Simple Chinese dishes with chicken and great home-made soups with a variety to choose from.
