Sabah Hotel, the only hotel with swimming pool in Sandakan

One of the best hotel in Sadakan known as the Sabah Hotel, located just a short distance of 5 minutes away from town. Sabah Hotel is known to be the only hotel in Sandakan to have a swimming pool! The place is relaxing, quiet and with excellent service; just a nice place to chill if you want some private time! I stayed here for one night while I was in Sandakan on a FAM Media Trip sponsored by Firefly and Sabah Tourism Board.

I stayed in the Exective Parlour floor. The room is very spacious.

The highlights are besides the normal stuff you find in a required hotel rooms. Sabah Hotel offer a mini snack bar however it’s charge if any snacks were taken from the basket but if your hungry late at night at least you’ve got some snacks in your room. They offer Sabah Tea on the coffee and tea section and the bedside table is attached with remote for the light, television, radio and air cond control! 

The bath room is like any 5 Star Hotel, spacious and with bathtub and a shower room. During evening the room service crew will come and asked if you had bath so they could replace bath towels for you!

During Tea Time as I was out in the town the Room Servie specially delivered fruits wrapped in plastic and place them beside my coffee table.

Yet besides the fruits when the room service came to change my towels they deliver chocolates with compliments from the management! How thoughtful! I’m not sure if they do this kind of special delivery to every guest as I was on a sponsored trip, drop me comments and share your experience if you had stayed in Sabah Hotel before =) 

I had such a wonderful time on my first day and night in Sandakan! Sabah Hotel would be one of my choice if I visit Sandakan the next time!
