Shizens Hydro Series (Anti Aging and Hydration) Event

Launching of Shizens First Skin Care Series to Decelerate Skin Aging and I’m giving away some Shizens goodies at end of this post.

The lack of water in our skin is the main causes of skin aging. Many researches had found that skin hydration is able to plump out wrinkles to make them less noticeable.

The Shizens Hydro Series combine the functions of skin hydration and anti-aging.

It consists of five products, Hydro Cleanser, Hydro Enhancing Lotion, Hydro Liposome Essential, Hydrant Day Emulsion and Hydrant Night Emulsion. Each of the products is formulated using different botanical extracts that bring diverse yet harmonized functions to your skin.

During the event I get to test the new Shizens Hydro Series products on my hands and learning more about it’s function.

Step 1: Hydro Cleanser
Increases the moisture level of horned layer to make your skin look hydrated, healthy and radiant, while removing dirt and impurities without stripping your skin moisture. It contains Aloe Barbadensis leaf extracts that is antimicrobial, antioxidant and able to moisturize dehydrated skin. Moisture level may increase up to 70% after a continuous use for twice a day in one week. Suitable for most skin types. 

Step 2: Hydro Enhancing Lotion
Serves as a second cleanser to further cleanse your face for better absorption of the following products. It contains licorice root (Glycyrrhiza Glabra) extracts to repair skin cells for deceleration of skin aging. Hydro Enhancing Lotion also contains witch hazel extracts, which is antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.

Here’s how the texture of the Shizens Hydro Series looks like.
I particularly enjoy the Hydro Cleanser and Hydro Liposome Essential as it contains pearl extract and the texture is light and gentle while it sparkles like glitters! After applying Hydro Liposome Essential, it leaves my skin slightly glittery from the pearl powder.

The Hydro Day Emulsion is not thick or creamy sticky. However for Hydro Night Emulsion there’s slight stickiness on the skin texture after applying. I was told this is for better better hydration, as at night we require more moisture in our skin due to air conditioned room which dry our skin throughout the night. A tip was given to me that the night cream may have a slight smell depending on individual in the morning, as it removes impurities deep from our skin to the surface.

Step 3: Hydro Liposome Essential
Formulated with multi-layer micro capsule encapsulating honey extracts and pearl extracts. Micro capsule penetrates deep into skin and unveil active ingredients layer by layer. Pearl extracts improve your cell metabolism, stimulate the growth of collagen and skin rejuvenescence. Honey extracts help to reduce formation of fine lines. The pearl powder balls kept in the bottle are so cute. It’s just amazing. For every pump, each pearl will burst giving you the best of the ingredients from pearl extracts.

Step 4: Hydrant Day and Night Emulsion

Hydrant Day Emulsion
Contains botanical extracts of Houttuynia Cordata Thunb (a flowering plant native to Asia), for its antibacterial properties to relief a variety types of skin problems, including dehydrated skin and wrinkle formation.

Hydrant Night Emulsion
Balance your skin tone and prevent dull skin. It contains Ceramide III, which is able to intensify skin immune system for a younger and radiant skin.
