If your in Sibu, Sarawak as I’m here together in the FAM trip sponsored by Firefly and Sarawak Tourism board.
Kom Pia buns is a must try besides the Kampua mee and Mee Sapi! Not only does the bun has a variety of flavors it has a rich history behind it.
the plain Kom Pia Buns where you can fill in your own flavors at home or just eat it as it is. They are delicious it’s nothing like any of the buns in KL.
The rich history behind kompia buns
comes in different flavours such as Barbeque Chicken, Ayam Masak Merah, Tuna mayo, Chicken mayo and more it’s like a mini hamburger. It’s super cute!
With some morden flavors it’s comes in a form of donut too!
here’s my kompia, the buns are like Naan being cooked in the ceramic stove.
Here’s the original version of Kompia with stuffings and sauce topping. Usually Kompia are pork based but this one is the halah version where they place chicken stuffings.
