St. Patrick’s Festival 2011 Merry goes round in March.
Mark your calander as SOULed OUT will be having a street carnival this Thursday on the 10th March at 6pm. Don’t miss the special menu of Guinness St Patrick’s Festival! You can expect lots of Guinness infused food, Performances by Mardi Gras, Jaw dropping Irish dancers, DJ Misty, games, trivia, fringe acts and much much more! watch out for Phat Fabes as he will be your Emcee!
Here’s a sneak peak of what to expect on that day as I was invited over to do a Food Review.
Salmon infused Guinness Tartare (RM 10) it’s diced fresh salmon mixed with fresh ingredients, infused with a hint of Guinness and topped with non spicy Wasabi cream.

Right: Classic Golden fried Fish and Chips (RM 15) snapper fillet in Guinness batter deep fried till golden and crispy, served with spicy fries.
Center: Ala Minute Grilled Beef with Guinness Sauce (RM 20) seasoned beef steak grilled, topped with fried onions rings and Guinness sauce.
Left: Guinness Chicken Yakitori (Rm 10) chunky chicken meat and sweet leek marinated with Japanese sauce, dipped in Guinness and grilled to perfection. Satay style like yet the sauce is just nice not too sweet with fragrance of Guinness.
Guinness Lychee Shooter 10’s (RM 30 nett) it’s a must try at SOULed OUT for it’s Guinness with lychee and Chantilly Cream on top served in shots. The taste is sweet and each shots consist of lychee inside.
Lychee at the bottom, Guinness topped with Chantilly Cream. Drink it as soon as it arrives chilled and before the Chantilly Cream sinks into Guinness.
Guinness Cupcake (RM 5) for 2 pieces. Cream top and cupcake are made out of Guinness. a Must Try!

Signature Detox juice known as Dragonfly (RM 12) red dragonfruit, watermelon, strawberry puree, Monin lychee syrup and fresh lemon juice.
Classic Mojito (RM 18) sublime mix of rum, lime and mint leaves. What’s special it’s that here they served it with a stick of Sugar cane. During the event do try the special Mojito Slush (Rm 15) however for Classic Mojito it’s available on normal days menu.
There are also some Asian delights such as Nasi Lemak, Briyani Gam, Honey BBQ chicken wings as well
Singapore Fried Noodles (RM 10) fried noodles with shredded vegetables and prawns in tomato sauce.

Char Kway Teow (RM 10) kway teow fried with shrimps, bean sprouts, fishcake and fresh cockles. Slightly spicy.
Curry Laksa (RM 10) Noodles laden with chunky boneless chicken, beancurd, egg, fresh cockles and fishball.
Live Band performances on every Wednesday at SOULed OUT.
