Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf @ Bangsar Village

Three Little Pigs

Checking out the popular place in Bangsar with a cheeky name. The first time my friend checked in on foursquare I was hooked on the name “Three Little Pigs and Big Bad Wolf” is certainly catchy. It’s a cafe specializes in pork – yummy indeed thinking about it. So here we are decided to try out, this is the typical crowd on a weekend. We were lucky to get a table for 2.

Three Little Pigs

Their signature dish, The Wolf Pasta, RM 27

It’s a simple carbonara with smoky pork & mushrooms topped with runny yolk. Although a very simple dish, the pork consist of rich flavour, complementing the pasta.

Portion wise, it’s just enough to fill one’s stomach. If your a big eater your advise to add on a side order.

Three Little Pigs

Another signature, The Mighty Piggy Burger, RM 24

It’s a pork burger with pork patty topped with egg, served with salad and fries. Since we’re in the burger trend now, I find this particular one just average – nothing mighty about it. Luckily the patty was juicy and it was good else the entire burger is just not up to standard since fries was just normal for me too.

Sundae, RM 10

Completing our half full stomach with a dessert. The chocolate and caramel is good. We spotted on the counter, there are cakes for desserts too.

Overall, their menu is similar to Plan B however, it’s pretty pricy from the simple dishes they have yet some are just not worth the bill. I will certainly come back for more porkie dishes but perhaps not often.

Oh, too bad the portion is small. I’ve heard that the food is good, but I won’t like it as much if it’s overpriced :/

True enough. I feel that it’s expensive.
