Village Park Nasi Lemak, Uptown Damansara

Shannon Chow · August 13, 2012 · 4 Comments

Malaysians we love and adore Nasi Lemak, Chicken Rice, Rojak and many other local delights. One of the best place for nasi lemak I’ve had over the years would be Village Park Nasi Lemak so far, they are still the best in KL/PJ. I’ve just realised I’ve shared photos of their nasi lemak many times however, I’ve not done a proper review. Although many people had done review about this place over the years as it’s quite popular among us in the city area, I would still like to share it with you. Just in case you may had missed out this place.
The signature Nasi Lemak with Ayam Georeng (fried chicken), RM 7+
Crispy chicken served with coconut rice, homemade sambal, anchovies, peanut, hard boiled egg and 4 slice of cucumbers.

Excellent taste and flavours. The texture of the rice and sambal is good enough to make you crave for more paired with deep fried chicken is a satisfying meal. A must try indeed.

Deep fried chicken all in one place, ready to be served. Village Park is pack with people during lunch hours every single day. So be sure to give them at least 15-30 minutes time for serving. Some people prefer to order and get their plate of Nasi Lemak from the food counter however, the waiter do take order from table to table as well serve the food to you. However, payment is to be made at the counter/cashier.

Besides their famous Nasi Lemak with Friend Chicken dish, other local delights selection such as asam laksa, mee rebus, rojak, mee soup, mixed rice, nasi lemak with rendang daging, toast bread with kaya, half boil eggs and so on are available.

Price ranges from RM 6 – 15 per person on food and drinks.

Besides food, I would recomend you to order cendol drink, teh tarik or soya cincau. Cendol drink is always my favourite when I’m in Village Park as they are served with generous amount of gula melaka.

Village Park is also a place for Nasi Lemak you MUST VSIT, since Tun Dr. Mahathir our former prime minister of Malaysia and Najib Razak our current prime minister had also dine here before. You can see their pictures in framed up portraits on the wall of the restaurants and near to the payment counter.

For now, until today this is still the first place that comes to my mind when I’m thinking of Nasi Lemak.
