Waterfront Kota Kinabalu

Shannon Chow · March 10, 2011 · 2 Comments

During the evenings around 5pm till 7pm, it’s highly recommended to take a stroll at the waterfront area. Perfect for sunset sighting.

You’ll see many people walking around, plus after the sunset just continue walking down the road to reach the Filipino market for dinner.

Danny lo, my travel buddy for this trip.

Oh that’s the familiar famous flying fish statue. It’s where the wet fish market is (you get the bait from there) and where the deep sea fishing boats depart too! I’ve been on several 3D/2N deep sea fishing trips. No water for bathing (coz the water is supposed to be for cooking) and you’ll get extremally sunburnt but there’s a lot of fish and it’s fun! 🙂
