Common Space

Common Space

A Common Space for people who gather over great coffee day or night. Artisan Roast HQ is relatively new in PJ section 13 neighbourhood, but is no stranger to coffee lovers as news had traveled they offer great coffee similar to Melbourne ones from it’s first outlet in TTDI.

The two-story spacious warehouse is dimly lit with rustic design. Furnished with dark wooden tables and chairs, surrounded by hanging light bulbs and lamps on red brick wall. Key highlight goes to the Spirit espresso machine, better known as “Kees van der Westen Spirit Triplette”.

On a Saturday night, Artisan was filled with people from all walks of life gathering over a cup of coffee. Old friends were seen catching up on each other lives, sharing a slice of cake while sipping long black and flat white. Some were absorb into their ipads as if their mind wander far away, while their unfinished Mocha cools off on the table. There are also those who are chasing a deadline like myself, tapping furiously on laptops after enjoying a fresh cup of piccolo latte. A young guy was seeking inspiration, sipping a cup of Red Latte slowly while gently sketches a draft on their sketchbook. Another guy was spotted sitting by himself, reading the papers on business section while having a Cappuccino.

Artisan offers more than just coffee and cakes, it provides a common space for people to gather.
