Took a short vacation with the love one, fluffy aka my boyfie Larry to Singapore Universal Studio and Marina Bay Sands. His back for good from his studies in UK, we had about 10 months plus of long distance relationship (LDR) and we survived, went through the difficult times together.
It’s certainly not easy yet never to imagine I would get myself into a LDR and we’ve been webcam skype-ing every single day to keep up with our romance, he’ll watch me sleep and when I wake up I’ll look at him sleeping for awhile before I leave the house. Sending love letters to him the traditional way via customize postcard (flying kiss & 10 monthsary) thanks to Samsung Galaxy Love Note campaign; spreading love across the world without borders!
Here we are, finally standing beside each other where real pokes can be felt, hugs that spreads warmth onto your body and kisses that melts you. I love fluffy so much that one cannot describe with words.
So our holiday, we stayed at Wanderlust Hotel a cute boutique hotel and which I got to know of via Tripadvisor plus I did a little research about Universal Studios Singapore but couldn’t find many blog write up on it such as how to get there, what’s the attraction etc, so I’m going to blog about Universal Studios and give you more insights on how Universal Studios looks like, as if your touring around! Hope you enjoy too! 🙂
lovely moments with boyfie

I joked to fluffy, if I should award him as The World Best Boyfriend… and well I said, you gotta marry me first only I can award you, else how do you qualify for World Best Boyfriend if ever we “break up”?
Walking from Hollywood street to New York
I love these NY apartments they always part of scenes in the movies!
Yellow cab
Subway, underground train…
The most anticipated, Transformer ride!
Entering, transformer base camp.
It was super awesome, breathtaking 4D experience! As if your at a battle with Bumble Bee! When people say it’s awesome, I asked, how awesome, they just kept on going it’s good very thrilling.Well, Transformer ride is awesome before with 4D cinema technology, basically your seated like in a car, then it will move into a room with projector and high tech cinema graphic technology so with the 4D glasses you’ve put on, and the moving effect your seated on plus room temperature and water sprinkles, it’s as if your IN the battle. Very impressive I would say, similar to IMAX movie effect yet at some point you’ll feel like it’s burning sensation on your skin when a bomb is thrown to you then Bumble bee comes to rescue you yet fell off a building and cooling air with strong wind comes blowing at you. That’s how you feel as if your at the battle scene. It’s a short ride, but fun!
Some space ride…
Egypt
A super tall guy walking past normal human….
The pyramid, from The Mummy! Each “theme” have about 2 to 3 rides, mainly the same ones, they’ve got roller coaster and a less adventurous ones for kids etc. All of them have similar rides concept just with a different theme and story according to the place. So yeah, you’ll get quite bored after a few ride at the end of the day.
Jurassic Park
Canopy flyer is fun, as you get to have a look on the entire Universal Studio as if your flying.
This is the canopy flyer.
From dinosaur world to Fairytale Land.
Love the castle!
A crown fountain
Frog Prince!
Next, we just went into Madagascar!
Marty!!!! I got so excited because, we just watched Madagascar 3 before coming to Universal Studio so…the normal reaction I gave was… Polka-Dots…Polka-Dots~ Afro Circus!
So I pick Marty!!!
One round of Universal Studio and we’re done… back to Hollywood street.Population: Glamorous
some star walk, so I wore my crocs and walk over it.
Fluffy and Police car….
The cinema
Some people would go crazy….
Street portrait…
We were just right on time after one round of Universal Studio and a few rides, so we had the opportunity to witness the Hollywood Dreams Parade! You won’t want to miss this out. Be sure to check out what time there will be performances of the parade (only available on weekends and selected public holidays) read more about the program schedule here.
Universal Studio was awesome! One of the must visit place of Singapore!
How to get to Universal Studio? Read more about it here.
For ticket price check out the seasonal price chart. Where you can also view which are the Peak periods and non-peak periods. I would not encourage anyone to go on super peak period as it’ll be so pack and there’s just no reason to queue up for 3 hours for a ride! If you wanna skip the queue and don’t mind paying a little extra, you can add on for “Express ticket” check the fees on RWS website via the “Booking tab at the bottom of the website” and there’s on going credit cards promotions and hot deals so do compare the prices before you purchase ticket online.
You can get your tickets on the day itself if you don’t wish to buy online as purchasing online limits you to only the purchase entrance date which the ticket is valid so if your not too sure of your trip yet you can buy the tickets at the booth.

Later on we took a bus back to Vivo city! Where earlier did I mention, the Pepper Lunch in Singapore taste better than Malaysia? Just try it in their food court, and look out for Pepper Lunch!
The next day, during the night we went to Marina Bay Sands,
Great place to chill at night…
The LV gallery is a must visit! Super huge. Start from the ground floor and head up to the flagship store!
Craving for some sweet stuff, Gong Cha it is!
Live band has just ended.
So we followed the crowd while getting a place to sit to drink our gong cha the Musical fountain show starts! No wonder so many people were waiting around the area!
We were quite lucky to catch it, it’s a must watch when your at Marina Bay Sands, if am not mistaken, the musical fountain should be played every hour in front of the entrance at the lake.
It was 11pm and we were so lucky to catch the musical fountain. Amazing!
Lot’s of bubbles too! I really enjoy our “Dating Honeymoon” everything was just impromptu and that’s how I like it. Not much planning yet we just go with the flow.
A memorable journey and trip in Singapore with fluffy!
