Gunter’s Gasthaus holds the Best German Sausage

Shannon Chow · June 11, 2011 · 7 Comments

Gunters German Sausage is one of the Best I’ve ever tasted. Juicy, tender and meaty sausage. It feels like haven when you chew it in your mouth. With smash potato and a tomato filled with baked egg while on the side some salad.

a wonderful place for a date or just to chill out with your local friends.

The amazing decorations in this bungalow restaurant brings you back to a relaxing and very olden english days dining.

With different types of table and settings, It brings different feel and atmosphere to you and your guests.

morden yet traditional feel with the interesting items being decorated all around the restaurant.
Ice Lemon Tea is a thumbs up
here’s Thomas and as the place is very “romantic” with dim lights it’s hard for us to do a food review so Chin Ann at the back is our Light man shedding light on all the dishes with his Cassette tape iPhone.

Mushroom Soup. Look at those slice mushrooms. Yummy! It’s thick and fresh mushroom taste.

a bowl filled withan Mushrooms in the soup!
here’s another plate of German Sausage! I really miss the german sausage here. sobs, hope I’ll have a chance to come back to KK and have the sausage =)
pasta

the Salad from self service. Grab as many as you like!
Roti Canai Chicken is as crispy like pizza!

dessert! Blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream
with Hayden Chan!

this pose…it’s speechless. say Cheese to …Talk to my Back!

Bottles of Wine

Did I mention they have rooms available for guest? Rooms decorated in traditional style but with a modern touch and water heater facility? =D
Check out the photos of their rooms above. They have only… a few rooms so not for a huge crowd, it’s an Inn. As for transportation you’ll need to call a cab which will be quite costly as it’s not near to the town.

Gunter’s Entrance. The prices ranges around RM 16 – RM 20 per person.

so we stayed at Grand Borneo Hotel, Kota Kinabalu…

Hi JJ, kindly contact them as I do not own Gunters and I’m just doing a review of my own experience while I was there. 🙂
