Next stop, QUARTET.
On the second day of Chinese New Year, being a city girl, sadly there’s no kampung to balik. So I hop around various cafe with friends who share the same delima as me. We visited QUARTET after The Grumpy Cyclist, well it’s actually QUAR/TET.
Rather vintage, hipster like place. It’s also a nice place to hang out, mainly because of it’s music and not forgetting their cakes and drinks.
QUAR/TET Menu
Such an Instagram friendly place, with it’s lighting and deco. Couldn’t resist being perky.
I enjoy their cold brew, especially Early Grey (Tea) while it’s Latte has abit of nutty chocolate flavour. In my opinion, their cold brew with milk is better than Whisk Outpost.
Crowd wise, it’s a full house on weekends. Good place, will certainly be back for more.

FYI, Cold Brews are not the same thing as Bottled Iced Lattes. Cold Brew is a totally different method of brewing coffee and is not espresso based. Cold Brews are meant to highlight natural flavours of the coffee bean selection without adding any flavourings/syrups so depending on beans, turns out differently in terms of body/acidity/flavour from bean to bean. I do believe Quartets “Cold Lattes” have some sort of flavour or sugar syrup added if I was told correctly by a friend who tried out their place. Nothing wrong with liking Quartet’s better but you simply cant compare the two as it is two different drinks made entirely different ways 🙂
